Check out the new Evolution Design its been updated with a new template the forum skin is still under construction along with some other pages.

Don't use templates, create them yourself the satisfaction you get from creating something from scratch is awesome.

This looks cheesy and looks like any other site I have seen using this template, I suggest creating something simple, that doesn't have 1 million things going on.

then why is your first website having anything to do with website design?, Start with something simliar and don't just move to webdesign, its like everything else it takes time to learn.

lol no this would not be my first website i have actually owned a lot of othr little websites and stuff. but i actually have a very good idea for a web template but my laptop just died.

yeah, as soon as I saw it I thought - TEMPLATE!!

If you're goign to use templates go for simpler ones (all the hi-tec ones like the one you used are soo easily potted as templates) and add in your own title, logos, email forms and change the layout slightly using MS Frontpage / dreamweaver.

I would make the logo font bigger so it's more readable. Also I think if you are going to be desinging websites for customers you could be limiting your self just to those who want a site like yours - which is very dark. Don't get me wrong I'm just saying business wise that it can scare people away.
