a new domain can get good PR very fast, but not get the good Ranking in SEs

it will take time but not too much..

That depends on the competitiveness of the keywords you are trying to rank high for and also on how strong your competitors optimization techniques are.

I also heard about this one but I'm not so sure about what is the real deal about this.
They say that the older the domain is, the better. Search Engines trust or give more importance to websites that has old domain... is that right? So that is the reason why some people tend to buy domain? Just because of their age?
