you guys just have to teach me that. well, I can pay for my house and bills and all of those, but I really spend a lot specially when going out.

Maybe the best thing you can do about your first salary is to give it ALL to your parents. I'm also thinking about that... but I'm definitely sure that my parents wouldn't accept all my salary, instead, they will told me to buy clothes and other things that will help me in my job.
So maybe I will spend my first salary buying new clothes (for office, a pair would do). I'm also planning to buy a computer but my first salary is not enough to buy one so I'm thinking about saving/keeping my first salary then I will use it in more important matter. (like helping my siblings regarding their studies)

this is a good question to answer because right now, I am working on my first job. My first salary? Maybe i would just buy some things that I like. And buy some things for my sister.

Huh?I have been independent even before I started college, well, not financially for those times, I live very far from them to be giving them my salary. and its sort of silly.

focus on your "needs", but then if you see a good gadget on sale, would you buy it?... I mean, be practical, in time you can have all your "wants" after you have all your need...

I've spent all my salary 6 hrs after I got it. Went bar hopping. Men..was my moms pissed when I got home. I didn't spare a dime for my expense in going to work for at least the next pay day. I also lost my phone that same night.Got drunk and slippped off my pocket on my way home on a cab.Tsk! Karma i guess.
But still..Classic!!haha.
