onion Skins (flash)

anybody heared about these onion skin technique used on macromedia flash i have heard about it on a number of sites but i dont know what it is.

Hi there,

You can easily visually adjust the effects of the shape hint using the onion skinning feature of Flash. Select Frame 1 of the flame1 layer.

Click the Onion Skin Outlines button located at the base of the Timeline. (It looks like two white squares.) Click the Modify Onion Markers button located to the right of the Outlines button and select Onion All. This will expand the Onion Skin Markers to include the entire range of the animated frames.

Adjust the hint on the first shape by moving it up or down the side of the shape. You will see outlines of the changes occur over the series of frames as you move the hint.

lol... I have done onion skinning in flash just 3 or 4 times... it is cool and really helps me make the drawing good...
