Default goto URL help Flash

Hi friends,

I can't seem to get my movie to load a url (ie. main.html). I really don't know Flash that well, at all, but created a basic logo animation and then I would like the scene/movie to load a url/web page (ie.main.html)...I've put a Global Function-Browser/Network...getURL which then reads:

getURL(main.htm);

Help me about it

newflash

yeah you have to put it in quotes and use the whole http string, ie getURL("(full URL string with http like above)", "_self") where _self means it will open in the same window, _blank means it will open in a new window, _parent means it will open in the window that opened the current window like if the flash was a pop-up window and you wanted the link to open in the window that it popped open from. I think there is another, _top but i'm not exactly sure about that one.

you can also try to target specific frames by using flash:
getURL("(URL)", "#name of frame to be targeted")...
have you tried it?
