How to make file size small for Pic and wav files ?

Dear friend,

I need to upload a few .wav and .bmp files on my website www.jainliterature.com .

can you please guide me and suggest on how to make smaller file sizes, so as for faster site opening and downloading by any user.?

It should harm the quality of pics and sound files.

hi vineet,

There is lot's of option to uplod the file,

but the bmp file is so heavy, so that you can use the jpg or gif file to load the image very fast mode.

regarding the wav file, for liesen, you can use the flash in swf format and for download the file you can use the wav format.
