I am adding some good idea also.

Add Link color as your site link color
Border color same as your page body color
Try seleted format like 728x90 , 300x250 and 160x600
Fit the advertisement in content to mix as content part

I will add more idea very sooon

First, make 30 posts and get your revenue shared on this forum. Add your code in "options".

Second, log on to Businessbaazee articles adsense revenue sharing and submit some articles, and don't forget to add your adsense code.

Both this stuff is like having multiple websites with your adsense ads on them! Best part, you don't have to do the promotion, or worry about SEO, or site indexing...

Find best resources on the net I am sure you would find lots of resources there. Also follow Google's TOS and don't cheat them. Promote your site well and gaid good traffic. Make intersting content which attract many members. More imporatant is your Ad placement.

One thing I tried with Google ads on my site was adding thematically matching pictures alongside each ad. I did this after I read a post in the digitalpoint forum. So for example

It was terrific for increasing clickthrough rate - by a factor of around 3 times.

Interestingly since then Google have brought in some guidelines relating to pictures and adsense requiring you to use some sort of separation such as a border or whatever. So read the Google TOS carefully before applying the pics, but it is worth a try.

Even more interestingly-

Just read a post over at threadwatch saying that Google itself is now experimenting with introducing pictures next to their ads!

It obviously works if Google are trying to implement it! Or maybe they are just trying to control how it is implemented!
