Why does google display far less backlinks than Yahoo? Any idea?

I am thinking about making an in-depth (!) backlink analyzer as the 5th product in the A1 software series (A1 Website analyzer, A1 Sitemap Generator etc.) ... Don't know yet when I will have time though

just sign-up an account on Google Webmaster Tools and you can track a full list of your links there. (just google it - i'm not allowed to post links yet)
