Question Not found documents: how do I find where the link is?

I ran a webcrawl report on my website through Google and got back 5 "not found" documents with their respective URLs. Obviously I made an error somewhere on my links. How do I find out where these non existent documents are linked from so that I can go back and fix the link ? Thank you!

I think that there is an available tool that checks the links of a website..
search it on search engines or manually inspect all of you links

Try using Free Online Broken Link Checker: Site Wide! no more 1 by 1 pages.

Maybe it can help you solve the problem.

Hope that's effective way of looking or fixing site.

You can try A1 Website Analyzer, but you should remember that Google will report 404 errors for a looong time. It has nothing to do with URLs listed in your sitemap. It may be that Google years ago picked up an url from some other website pointing to your website... Which then gives the 404. And Google will keep trying that URL for quite some time.
