We were recently notified about a post on WHT where there was 2 website templates offered by a youg aspiring designer. We quickly noticed that it consisted of graphics taken from a website that we purchased from a well know web designer. We are the sole owner of this costom site but the original author still shows it on his site in his portfolio.

We have since gotten after the guy who ripped off the graphics and tried to pass them off as his own and he removed the templates he made with them, but I would like to know from other designers out there if we should have pursued it further to make sure he does not do this again.

What are your opinions on this? How would you have handled it?

Hi there

i think, you must define the T&C before start the job.

Must add the condition to show or not to show the template in portfolio
but, because template design for you by the designer, they can show in his portfolio with your permission, if any one stole or use the same template, you can send the warning /notice to the design user
