For just plain coding I actually like Notepad++. It's simple, but does the job.

Red face

Definitely Dreamweaver is the best HTML Editor. Coding is made simple. It also reduces errors.

I'm with you on Notepad++, especially for script editing. But I use DW CS3 for layout etc. CS3 is another step forward in usability, but boy, it's resource heavy and was it worth the $$$? I'm not sure. I'm still some way off finding a design and web management tool that fits the bill.
