I registered my own domain name at www.xo.com and they let me register for free. I really couldn't believe it. What would this site get by registering domain name for free?

They do offer web domain hosting, but I do not see anything about it being free. I am wondering if that was just some sort of promotion or if they give a free domain with the purchase of hosting or something.

I also not found any Free domain registration link on this site, i this it's a promo. when you purchase the hosting, they will give you domain FREE and now it's end

Years back, namezero.com provided free domain with their advt on bottom frame, after that no one seems to offer such free domains.

Well, it's not exactly free but .info domain at NameCheap is only $2.88/month with free Whois Guard for 1 year. It's really good IMO.
