MS SQL Help CALC

Hello friends,


I'm brand new to this SQL and I'm trying to create a database to keep statistics, where some fields are fixed values entered manually and some others are automatically filled from calculations on the previous ones. As much as an Excel spreadsheet, where some columns are calculated fields defined by formulas. I actually don't know even if is this possible in a MySQL database, and I'll appreciate any help to achieve this or an authorized opinion who makes me leave this idea and look for another alternative. I'm managing the database not from the shell but thru PHPMyAdmin, but I haven't found an implementation for what I want.

hi nikhil,

If you are planning to track keep statistics for your site, use php to track all value and Insert it in database, like ip, reffer, browser, Os and more!

Can you provide any script link to download Or any example on any site to learn as I rarely use PHP and I don't know much about PHP.
