According to some reviews of some gaming channel Xbox 360 technology is much better than PS3.But the edge of PS3 is the gameplay which gamer is much familiar with.I.E.
Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots,
Grand Theft Auto IV, Final Fantasy XIII and etc....
